He started his journey to stardom when he and his friends formed the Ghetto Fellas group, later known as The Juvenylz, in 2003. The group was dissolved after two years.

Kwesta’s continued  journey to stardom was when he was added to the Buttabing Entertainment record label’s roster. Kweta could not afford transport fare. He had to convince his mother to pay for his cab trip to Buttabing because he had just dropped out of high school.

Following the group’s dissolving, Kwesta signed an agreement to use the studios of Africa’s Most Southern Record Company.
