YNW Melly Release Date From Jail ( Is YNW Melly Still In Prison )

On September 23rd, 2023, the presiding Judge on YNW trial denied his bond; this means he remains still in prison and also that YNW Melly release date is emphatically going to be in 2024 as he is still in Jail and not yet free. The exact month and time when he will be released is what we do not not know yet.

On September 15th, two events happened simultaneously; first is that the trial judge officially declared October 9th, 2023 for YNW retrial. The second issue is that the two victim’s mother ( mothers of those two friends he was alleged to have gunned down) requested that the trial Judge deny YNW Melly bond application.

On August 19th, 2023, Boosie Badazz was visibly upset about the Judge decision on the 8-4 vote that ended in a mistrial, he is of the opinion that this young rapper may get death sentence which to him is not going to be fair.

On August 4th, 2023, clad in an orange jail jumpsuit and shackles as typical for a prisoner, he appeared again at the broward country boardroom. After his appearance, on August 18th, YNW Melly was pushing for bond to enable him secure his release, pending when his mistrial will commence.

In short, the new jury that was supposed to be chosen for his mistrial has now been extended till October 12th 2023.

What we envisage is that YNW Melly release date will likely be in early 2024!!

On July 23rd 2023, the trial judge declared a mistrial on this date which was as a result of a dead lock vote. This inherently means his release will likely head into 2024.

Now, the Mistrial verdict simply means that the trial will have to start all over again, even though the prosecutors are hell bent on still getting a death penalty sentence for ynw.

The euphoria of delay and confusion surrounding this young rapper trial verdict for more than 4 years is sickening and curious fans all over the world are asking did YNW get sentenced 2023.

YNW Melly Release Date And Mistrial Verdict

According to the latest update which I posted on Sunday, 23rd, 2023, the 12 member panel Jury voted but ended in a deadlock and the judge declared a mistrial verdict.

What is the meaning of this mistrial statement, what is the implication on the part of YNW? Does it mean he will be free or convicted? All the possible answers to this will be answered next.

Remember that on Friday 21st, July 2023, I posted that the 12 appointed Jury are presently deliberating on the possible sentence that will be handed over to Melly. After their deliberation, they voted. How they voted, we did not know but according to Melly’s mother, she is of the opinion that the jury voted 9-3 , however, for the judge to declare a mistrial simply means they voted 6-6 meaning no solution, it was deadlocked.

To declare a mistrial means the whole trial has to start all over again, so we are in for another rollercoaster that will possibly take months again for YNW Melly sentencing to come forth. For now, he is back in the broward prison Jail facility till the trial starts all over again, however, we do not know when it will start.

On Monday, 17th July 2023, during the court room murder trial of YNW Melly, it is clearly obvious that the detective in charge of the investigation ( Mark Moretti) is either lazy or not experienced enough to provide tangible reasons of accusing the rapper of the death of his two friends in 2018.

A clearly angry defense attorney of YNW Melly, Stewart Edelstein questioned the detective with questions like ” did you interview the more than one dozen people listed as suspects at one time or another and also whether he ever interviewed Melly himself? The detective answered NO.

From a professional stand point , this is not right and the case lacks credible evidence against the young rapper!! At this point, the case needs to be dismissed and the release date of Melly should not exceed this year December 2023!!

Born on May 1st, 1999, 24 years old YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Maurice Demons is a black American singer and rapper.

He grew up and was raised in the neighbourhood of Gifford, Florida, United States. His mother, Jamie Demons-King and father, Donte “Tha Gift” Taylor ( though still being disputed) struggled to raise him up because of their poor situation.

The mother, at a teenage age of 14 years old, never knew that she has given birth to a rising star and being typical of the motherly love for her son, she did everything within her power to take care of this young star, struggling in payment of essential basic items such as housing, groceries etc.

The young rapper, also known as Melly or Melvin came to worldwide prominence and fame when he released his award winning songs, ”Murder on My Mind”, “Mixed Personalities“, “Suicidal”, and “223′ all in succession.

YNW Melly made his first song when he was 15 years old, learning the tricks, politics and nature of the music industry at such a tender age. He leveraged on the use of SoundCloud to upload his songs to get that first traction and attention before he was signed to a record label.

As at June 9th, 2023, what we know, according to updates from the rapper’s mother is that her son’s trial has commenced. A 12 person jury has been chosen, selected and finalized ; thereby clearing the way for the case to proceed.

Blood Gang Signs That YNW Melly Showed

3. YNW Melly Displays Blood Hand Signs and Symbols

This was one of the strongest point the investigative detective pointed out that YNW Melly is a blood. He brought out pictures and video evidences to suggest that YNW Melly regularly displays the blood signs and symbol which is predominately the hand gestures.

If you scroll up, I listed these blood gang symbols and signs, I even uploaded some of the court pictures and other images obtained from Wikipedia to support this assertion.

4. YNW Melly Has Past Criminal Records

At age 24, the young rapper has seen a lot, partly due to where he grew up and also how he grew up. There are available arrest records that shows YNW Melly already has criminal records. So he is not new to breaking the law, the state attorney argued.

In addition, he is seen on YouTube and Instagram brandishing weapons, guns, cash and alcohol with Marijuana in the company of his friends who are now dead.

The detective argued that all of this is a pointer that he belongs to the blood and could have been the reason why he murdered his two friends.

5. He has been in prison before and has friends who are gangsters

Though, this evidence does not carry much weight at all, but the detective pointed out that there is strong correlation with this fact.

He opined that YNW Melly has been in prison before and likely met with fellow blood gangs and became initiated. Furthermore, he said that well known blood gangsters are his friends.
